Drugs are a very dangerous thing and it has become a worldwide issue, especially in teenagers and adult. Abusing drugs can be harmful to us, our family, our society and our country, it harmful in every way and doesn't give any benefit at all. It clearly to be seen that the factor that influences decision making of using drugs is a high level of stress. People who have lots of pressure whether in their workplace or college are more likely to alleviate their stress through the use of drugs such as cocaine, marijuana, heroin, and alcohol.
Anyone who uses illegal drugs may experience unwanted physical reactions that may cause death. Sometimes they might do unknowable things such as physical harm to the family or their surrounding people. Most importantly, it affects physical and mental health, including social health as well. A serious danger of drug abuse is the risk of an overdose which means the reaction that taking a large amount of a drug, this action can lead to heart attack, kidney and brain damage, abdominal pain, liver problem, and seizures. Moreover, in term of mental health, it may impair the ability of reasoning and thinking which alters the brain’s structure and function.

If there is a friend that invited me to partake in drugs I would confidently say “No” to them and make new friends with the one who respects my decision because a real friend doesn’t influence you to do bad things.
What about environment and circumstances? How do you think the environment that you grew up in influences your choices to partake in drugs and alcohol abuse? On a larger scale, how are issues of drug and alcohol abuse related to social inequality?
ReplyDeleteIt is hard to stay clean if your surroundings especially friends are mostly using drugs and alcohol, so it might be easy for a sensitive person to implicate in these things.
DeleteSocial inequality, especially poverty, leads to alcohol and drug abuse. This is because when someone has no money to have an education, they are unable to find a legal job or it might be too hard to find a job. Thus, they going to face a lot of pressure from their families. As a result, being a drug dealer might be the only income source that they have. Eventually, drug dealing leads to drug addiction, which will make them spend more money on drugs and become more poverty
