Happiness

If there is someone who asks "what is your happiness" or "what are your goals in life" each person would have different answers, some might say that having a lot of money is their life goals and some might believe that success is their life goals. When we analyze these two answers, we can clearly see that the reason for many people who want to be wealthy is because we would be able to do, eat or buy anything we want with all the money we have. As a result, money can truly fulfill our life, which create a feeling of satisfaction and that feeling leads to happiness.

In my perspective, my happiness is not something big or something that is arduous to achieve, but it is some little things that make me feel happy in everyday life such as cancel classes on Monday, finish class early and be able to hang out with friends, or coincidentally eat a very delicious dish. These kinds of happiness are the factors that make me living a happy life.

Some people might believe that the happiest time in a person's life is when they are a child. It seems to me that before we judge who is happy or not, it depends on how each person defines their own meaning of happiness. Both child and adult have something that they can do and can't do, but it is true that a child might feel more comfortable and happier because they have no responsibility or pressure to be worried about.

I think people used to be happier in the past than today because, in the modern-day, we have many problems to deal with. Our lives are much more competitive and full of competing, this giving us more stress and pressure and consequently, we feel depressed. Moreover, we are unable to feel happy without new makeup collection, car or smartphone.

Being happy is a physical and emotional benefit when you achieve your goals, which mean that if you achieve any goals in your life, it's going to create happiness too.

  1. Great post, I agree with many of the things that you wrote!

When was the last time that you were "truly" happy? Who were you with? What were you doing? How long did this state of happiness last?

    1. The last time that I were truly happy is when all my family and friends came to farewell me at the airport before I flew to Japan, thereby, I want to cherish all the moment since that happiness didn`t last long. And now I am feeling homesick :(
