My Country's music

Music is a man-made art, by using sound as a medium to convey the style, mood, melody of the song proceeded according to the ideas and imagination of the composer. It is a valuable thing for humans which make their lives feel more gala, relieve sadness and enrich human activities and rituals.
In Thai society and culture, Thai music is a work of art that conveys nationality. The value of Thai music can be determined by the music composed by the composer. There are melodies according to the structure of the sound system with graceful lyrics combine with a musician who conveying the song using instrumental methods that have many characteristics. Besides, there are harmonious methods of singing and musical instruments with unique and beautiful proportions as well. These are the factors that make Thai music different from other countries.

Thai music is important and meaningful to the individual for developing the quality of mind. It is a medium of tradition, religion, performing arts and social media which helps integrate people in the nation as well as being relevant to various institutions of the country, such as political, government, military, etc. Moreover, Thai music is the cultural wisdom of Thai people that have been created in the form of music, musical instruments, instrumental methods, singing methods, and suitable usage on various occasions.

In addition to Thai music, it is important in the preparation of emotions and feelings. Any activities used Thai music in the rituals or ceremonies will feel more magical and attractive which means that it creates a better performance for itself.

In many provinces in the central region of Thailand, various “Pi Paat bands” (Ritual with a string and orchestra) It is used as a joyous entertainment instrument, the northern region has “Lanna folk bands”. The northeast region has “Isan folk bands” (the original name of the band) and the southern region has "Folk music bands" performed in the ceremonies and engages in performances. Using these bands will contribute Thai people's feelings of love, heritage, music awareness and creating pride in being Thai people. These bands are my favorite.

    1. No, I do not like to listen to Thai traditional music because of the tone that sounds creepy when I hear it. I only know how to play Angklung. Angklung is one of the Thai traditional instruments, and we only able to play in a group; we cannot play solo because each Angklung has only one key. I learned this instrument when I am in High school, it is a part of the curriculum in Thai's music class.

In my opinion, if this world does not have music, some people still be able to live. Humans will adapt to the current situation, and they will be able to find something entertaining to replace music. However, I will be so sad and lonely because I listen to music every day. If music does not exist anymore, there will be some blank space on my heart.
