Study Abroad

Study abroad is one of my life goals since I was young. There are many reasons I chose Japan as the place to spend my 4 years. First, I really like Japanese culture. I have been traveled to Japan for about 5-6 times before I decided to study here. Every time I traveled to Japan, I really interested in their language, food, and tradition. So, that's why I wanted to learn more about their culture. Second, Japan is one of the safest countries in the world. This is not only the criminal things that rarely happened but the environment such as the atmosphere also good for our health as well. Besides, My parents also like Japan, so they also convince me to study here too. Finally, the Japanese language is necessary for most of the companies in Thailand, so learning Japanese will help me increase the opportunities to find a job in my home country as well as in Japan.

Getting to live in an environment that requires a foreign language such as English is considered to be the best way to communicate fluently and understand each other culture. Moreover, Hearing and using English every day, able me to extend my existing English skills, even more, learning and communicating with native speakers helps me become accustomed to the accent and pronunciation. Furthermore, living in a foreign country must encounter various experiences and multi-ethnic cultures. By opening up new perspectives and learning new things will give me a variety of perspectives that help me understand and solve problems well. However, these skills that I learned from study abroad will beneficial for me in the future, which can be said that studying abroad is very challenging and it is the most valuable time in life.

Image result for study abroad in japanI think I will experience some reverse culture shock. As you know, Japan is a very convenient country and its transportation is very comfortable. Mostly everything in Japan is good such as weather, people, food and transportation. When it comes to Thailand, everything seems to be the opposite of Japan. The weather is so hot and sweaty and the public transportation is too ancient. That's why, when I'm returning to my home country I will experience culture shock because the way of living in Japan and Thailand is totally different.

When I'm graduate, I have no plan on whether to stay in Japan or return to my home country. I will let my fate lead me to the way of success. Who will know, I might have Japanese husband in the future.

“There is a trend among Asian countries that students from those countries always choose to study in Western countries”, For this statement, I think Western countries are the place where is totally different from Asian countries, whether its the food, people, tradition and culture. So, I think it's normal for Asian students to choose to study in Western countries because those countries have very interesting and different cultures from Asians countries.

Since I have recently experienced homesick, I have found out the way to avoid my homesickness. There are many things that I do to avoid the feeling of homesickness, and it really helps me to pass through that period of time. The first and foremost thing that I do is avoid staying in the room. Being in the room alone makes me overthinking and eventually, I will miss my parents and feel depressed. To avoid this feeling, I tried to go outside and explore new places in Japan, which really works because I have something to do and to think about. Therefore, traveling to new places helps me eradicate those bad feelings and also helps me enjoy my life. Another way is finding something to watch. When feeling lonely, I always find something to enjoy such as Netflix or youtube. Watching videos or movies really helps kill some time.

    1. In my point of view, people should study abroad once in their life. It is very challenging for some people, and it is hard to adapt to other countries' cultures as well. However, study abroad allows people to learn their country languages, and explore new experiences in life. Mostly, many people cannot go overseas because of the financial problem, but if not for financial concerns. I recommend people to go abroad for a week, a month or a year to explore the other countries life style.

I have been to nearly all of the famous preferences in Japan such as Fukuoka, Nagoya, Osaka, Kyoto, and Tokyo. I have never been to Hokkaido, which I’m looking forward to going to Hokkaido next summer vacation.
