    1. Yes, I bring Tom Yum Kung spices from Thailand, so when I miss Thai foods, I can cook for myself.

Tom Yum Kung's exact history is not fully known, but it is widely believed that it is a Thai soup from Central Thailand, where fresh shrimp are abundant in the 'Chao Phraya' river.

Over the years, due to its relatively simple preparation and wonderful tastes, the soup has become a favorite in Thailand and has spread rapidly around the world. Most western cultures have been introduced to Tom Yum Kung, and it has become the main dish for Thai restaurants serving customers from all over the world.

The words Tom Yum mean “boiling” or “hot” and “spicy and sour” which perfectly describes this soup. The word Kung or Goong (กุ้ง) is Thai Language which means shrimp or prawn. Tom Yum Kung = ต้ม ยำ กุ้ง
